Hike in the wine region of Bordeaux

Our hiking tour of Bordeaux takes you to some of the most famous vineyards in the world. The week starts in the famous St Emilion, before continuing through the Entre-Deux-Mers area with its charming, well-preserved villages, and ends in Sauternes.
During the week you will hike among vines and farms, while also getting some variety with hikes along rivers and forests. The hikes are of an easy nature, about 10 km per day, so you’ll have plenty of time for visits and tastings at the wineries.
You will stay in comfortable family-run small guesthouses and hotels in the heart of the wine regions. Many of them have swimming pools and beautiful gardens.
The trip can be extended with an extra day & night in St Emilion (see the intinerary tab), or an extra night in Bordeaux at the end of the week. For prices, see the tab ‘Prices and what’s included.’

My best hiking trip
My friend and I hiked in Bordeaux for a week at the end of September. The trip was incredibly well organized. The accommodations were lovely and varied, and the food was absolutely fantastic. The transport of our luggage worked flawlessly. The hikes were diverse and interesting. It should have been clearer that transfer to the airport on the day of departure was not included, but Kristina helped us book a taxi, so we still made our early morning flight. We are very satisfied with Evertrek and will definitely travel with them again.

Hiking trip Bordeaux
In summary, everything was of the highest quality. Unfortunately, it was extremely hot during our week, so we couldn’t fully enjoy the hikes and sights (it was simply not possible to be active in the afternoons due to the heat). We missed the last hike (Sauternes) due to wildfires and smoky air. We had problems following the route instructions (green signs were sometimes missing, the app didn’t always sync, dense vegetation obstructed the view). All practical arrangements worked perfectly, all accommodations were good, and we appreciated the pre-booked dinners and picnic lunches as we got to try “new” food. We are satisfied!
