Getting to the destination

Plane

The nearest Airport to fly to is Salzburg Airport (SZG), but most direct flights are to Munich Airport (MUC). From here you can either take the train or bus to Schladming and then change to the bus to Ramsau.
Many of our guests also choose to take a hire car from the Airport, which you can park for free in the first village during your stay.

Transfer

You can book a private or shared transfer from the Airport. The company you use depends on the Airport you are flying to.

Examples of transfer companies:
Austria Transfers
Four Seasons Travel

Local transport

Ramsau am Dachstein doesn’t have its own train station so the best option is to take a train to Schladming and then change to a bus that goes to Ramsau. Trains to Schladming can be taken from several cities in Austria, such as Munich Airport, Salzburg and Innsbruck. Or why not take the train all the way from Sweden to Austria.
