The journey takes you along one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in Portugal. You start in Lisbon and finish in the far southwest of Europe, in Sagres. Over the course of seven days you will cycle a total of 326 km, over 4,620 metres of altitude, on a mix of paths along the cliffs and dirt roads inland (a total of about 80% paths, about 20% road).
In addition to wonderful cycling with fantastic views, you will of course experience small authentic villages, Portuguese food, and perhaps the occasional cooling bath in the Atlantic Ocean.
During the week you will stay in comfortable and charming 4-star hotels or equivalent. We will transport your luggage between the hotels, so you only need to bring the essentials for the day. In addition, detailed directions, login to mobile app with GPX files for digital maps and navigation is included.
