Experience an unforgettable cycling holiday along the entire classic pilgrimage route, the Camino Francés, from Saint Jean Pied de Port to Santiago de Compostela. Cycling the route is an excellent choice as it is fairly easy to navigate, and there are many fantastic places to visit along the way. You will pass through regions such as the Basque Country, Navarra, La Rioja, and Galicia, each with its unique cultural, scenic, and culinary identity.

Difficulty level
Daily stages vary between approximately 43 and 75 km, mostly along small country roads. There are no particular technical difficulties, but some sections include long uphill stretches. The route is therefore classified as moderately difficult to challenging, 3–4 on a 5-point scale.
Weather
The climate in the area is very mild, being close to the Atlantic. The average temperature is around 15°C throughout the year, and extreme temperature variations are rare. Summers tend to be dry and warm, while spring and autumn are mild and ideal for cycling, though there is a slight risk of rain showers.
