This cycling tour takes you around the entire lake, allowing you to experience a diverse natural landscape with rolling hills, small villages with traditional houses and farms, and a rich flora and fauna that still thrive in their original environment. The region is also known for its wine production – perfect for those who want to combine cycling with local culinary experiences.

This journey follows the pilgrimage route El Camino de Santiago, from France through Spain. It begins grandly as we cross the Pyrenees, then turns westward as we traverse northern Spain toward the Atlantic coast and the final destination, Santiago de Compostela.

From Santiago de Compostela to the Finisterre cape – “the end of the world” – is, according to legend, the place where Saint James’ body miraculously arrived by boat, before being buried at Finisterre by his faithful disciples.

Provence is known for its beautiful landscape of rolling hills with dramatic mountains in the background. Not only is the landscape beautiful, but it is also home to some of the best wine producers. The journey starts in the picturesque town of Avignon and continues to Venasque, one of the most beautiful villages in France. From Venasque you will continue into the Vaucluse region.
