Alpe Adria Trail - Kranjska Gora to Civiale del Friuli

Hike in Slovenia along the Alpe Adria Trail

As the name suggests, this amazing trail runs from the Slovenian Alps to the Adriatic Sea with a total distance of 750 km. The Alpe-Adria hiking trail runs in three countries. It starts in the Alps in Austria, continues through Slovenia and then ends in Italy at the Adriatic Sea. You’ll hike over beautiful mountain passes and follow the emerald green Soča River as it winds through the beautiful Trenta Valley. Towards the end of the week, you’ll hike along a stunning mountain pass before descending to the wine region and the small village of Cividale del Friuli, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
