As the name suggests, this amazing trail runs from the Slovenian Alps to the Adriatic Sea with a total distance of 750 km. The Alpe-Adria hiking trail runs in three countries. It starts in the Alps in Austria, continues through Slovenia and then ends in Italy at the Adriatic Sea. Our hike takes you from the best parts in the heart of the Slovenian Alps to the sunny vineyards on the Italian border. You’ll hike over beautiful mountain passes and follow the emerald green Soča River as it winds through the beautiful Trenta Valley. Towards the end of the week, you’ll hike along a stunning mountain pass before descending to the wine region and the small village of Cividale del Friuli, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
