Hiking in the Dolomites
It was a wonderful hiking trip. The first time we hiked in Europe, so very safe and convenient to go with a ready-made package. The hike itself was a bit more demanding than I expected, but that didn’t matter—better that than the opposite. For the most part, the trails were very clearly marked, only a couple of times it was a bit confusing. Hotels and food were okay, the weather was perfect, and the views were breathtaking.

Hike Alta Via
Fantastically well organized! Truly the most perfect way to travel. Excellent service both from EverTrek and at the hotels in Italy. The accommodation was nice with a large room and balcony. The food was good! The hike was magical with beautiful views, fantastic flower meadows, and grazing cows with bells around their necks! Easy-to-read route descriptions and well-marked trails, with only a few exceptions where we needed to use the map and GPS. Don’t forget hiking poles—they made things easier when it got steep at times.

Hiking on your own in Val Badia
Good arrangements with bookings. Good accommodation. Good maps and roadbook. The only criticism is that it would have been easier to pack properly if we had received the hiking description (roadbook) in advance — for example, we unfortunately didn’t bring trekking poles, which we probably would have if we had known.

EVERYTHING IS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!
We have become experienced hikers in the Alps and on pilgrimage walks in Spain and have used Evertrek before. Four of our children joined us on a 6-day hike, giving us many wonderful memories together. This time we only had backpacks, with no luggage transfer between the different accommodations. Highly recommended if you are looking for an extra challenge and simplicity. Max 8–10 kg on your back and good basic fitness. A tip is to fill your backpack with about 10 kg well before the trip and walk/hike at home so you know how it feels and works. Accommodations and everything else worked perfectly as before. We find that there are not many hikers around in late June into July in the Alps and Dolomites, and the flowers are in full bloom. EVERYTHING IS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! We will not choose tours where we stay 2 nights at the same accommodation. We want hikes with new destinations every day.
