Between the high-alpine Resia Pass at 1455m, right down to the shores of Lake Garda, you will experience magnificent views of the Dolomites, superb vineyards and apple orchards. Visit charming villages like Silandro, and enjoy a creamy cappuccino in Bolzano while enjoying magnificent views of the surrounding hills and its vineyards. Be sure to visit Piazza Duomo, in Trento, with its beautiful fountain and the impressive Buonconsiglio Castle. The journey ends on the northern shore of Lake Garda, in Riva del Garda.

Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival in Silandro
You arrive in Silandro and check into the cosy family-run hotel. Take a stroll around the village and enjoy its sights.
Day 2 Cycle from the Resia Pass to Silandro - 50 km
After breakfast, a private transfer will take you up to the starting point at the Resia pass (about 1 hour journey). You will cycle along the Resia lake and pass e.g. the sunken church whose steeple looks up above the surface. Continue downhill, along alpine meadows with marvellous panoramic views. You cycle through beautiful villages like Burgusio and Glorenza. Finally you will cycle along endless apple orchards to Silandro, where you once again will spend the night.

Day 3 Cycle from Silandro to Merano – 38 km
You’ll start the day by cycling down the Venosta Valley, through snow-capped mountains and endless pine forests. Enjoy an espresso in Naturno while witnessing the bustle of the streets. Then, the road winds its way through a narrow gorge, before emerging into a large valley. Soon after, you’ll arrive in the beautiful town of Merano. After checking in at your hotel, take the opportunity to visit the promenade and small alleys of this magical place.

Day 4 Cycle from Merano to Caldaro – 48 km
From Merano, you will cycle to the majestic capital of the South Tyrol, Bolzano. From here, the cycle path winds south, through a rolling landscape of vineyards, past the village of Caldaro to your hotel. 48 km, +340 m, -475 m
Day 5 Cycle from Caldaro to Trento – 53 km
From the crystal-clear waters of Lake Caldaro, you will follow the beautiful ‘Strada del Vino’ (Wine Road) that leads you through small villages and vineyards. From here, descend into the Adige Valley on a cycle path that takes you all the way to Trento. Along the way you can stop at a ‘Bici Grill’ (‘cyclist’s restaurant’) and visit the old villages of Egna and Salorno. Once in Trento, you will stay in the old part of the village.

Day 6 Cycle from Trento to Riva del Garda – 48 km
The first part of the route follows a cycle path along the blue-green waters of the Adige River, to reach Rovereto (30 km). Then head west through a small pass. From here, you will cycle a short section with stunning views of Lake Garda! Through narrow medieval alleys, you will enter Riva del Garda and arrive at your hotel.
